In practice my car was good and I would take the fastest time. I did however find that my car was collapsing in the fast chicanes and therefore went to a stiffer roll bar on the rear.
In qualifying I would TQ two of the three rounds taking the fastest time of the day in the process but only by a small margin making for a great final. This would give me the TQ to start the main final on pole.

I made a good start in the A main but would make a few too many mistakes before the first pit stop. I set some fast laps to get back in contention but would finish a close second on the day. Some very close, clean racing made for an enjoyable final.
I was very happy with my XB8. My last outing at this track was with the 2016 spec car and I am amazed with the improvement with the new 17 platform. My k3 was awesome also providing plenty of power with good runtime.
